Released as our second single of 2018, this is the dual title track of the Reasons to Exist EP along with Lifeline. The first love song written for Lloyd by Sarah, this is a song about someone else reminding you of who you want to be in life and supporting you to find your way when lost.

I wasted fifty pages on mistakes
Tore up my thoughts in frustration

I threw away ideas time and time and time again
Refused to steer against the waves
Wore the ground so thin that it was tearing

With grace you took my hands and kept them steady
Fought the sails and read the guiding stars

You drew me to my feet to measure up
And promise something
Held a candle to the treasures
So I’d find you something
But could I ever bring you something on my own?
